How We Started...

It started with a few picnic tables alongside of Route 32 in Saugerties that TJ Lenz built in his spare time. Soon he couldn’t keep up with demand. Then came the sheds and Mini barns only 4 at first and again they could barely keep up. In just 4 years the Lenz family went from a young couple to a family of four and TJ’s Barns went from a couple of picnic tables and a few sheds to over 2 acres of sheds, swing sets, outdoor Furniture and picnic tables, making TJ’s barns one of the largest Amish Shed distributors in Ulster County.

With the addition of two little girls it seemed natural for TJ’s barns to focus on children’s play houses, castles, ships and swing sets. It’s a small family business so there are no pushy sales people, just Eileen or TJ there to help you find what you might need for your home and family. With over 50 different sheds in every size, shape and architectural style TJ’s Barns will have what you need.
